The real question: what is carried, and how?
Capacity alone is not enough when choosing a freight elevator. How goods enter the cabin — by hand, pallet truck or forklift — determines the point loads on the cabin floor and door sill. That is why we confirm the loading method with you before quoting.
In low-rise facilities, hydraulic systems carry heavy loads quietly and precisely; in taller buildings and under heavy traffic, electric traction systems come forward. In the Complete Kit, we choose together based on number of floors, trip frequency, machine room options and budget.

An installation-ready elevator cabin built in the design you choose. For projects renewing the cabin of an existing elevator, or sourcing the rest of the system themselves.

The cabin arrives together with its car frame and safety gear. For projects renewing the cabin and the suspension together.
03Only installation needed
Complete Kit
Everything the elevator needs to run, in one package: cabin, suspension, machine, controller, rails, doors and every other component. All that is left is installation.
Installation and maintenance are not included in any package; VEXA does not provide installation or maintenance. Products are delivered ready for installation by your own team or the authorised installer you work with.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions
Should I choose a hydraulic or an electric freight elevator?
Hydraulic systems are advantageous in low-rise buildings and for very heavy loads. As the number of floors and traffic grow, electric traction systems become the better fit. In the Complete Kit, we decide together based on your building and use.
Can a freight elevator be loaded with a forklift?
Yes, if it is designed for it. Forklift loading creates high point loads on the cabin floor and sill, so the cabin, floor and sill must be reinforced accordingly.
Can people ride in a freight elevator?
People must not travel in an elevator designed for goods only. If staff need to travel with the goods, the elevator must be designed and certified for that use. We clarify your needs at the quoting stage.
Can you renew the cabin of our existing freight elevator?
Yes. We can build a durable new cabin to the dimensions of your existing shaft and car frame; if the frame is also being replaced, the Cabin + Suspension package is the better fit.
Does VEXA install the elevator?
No. VEXA does not provide installation or maintenance. All products, including the Complete Kit, arrive ready for installation by your own team or the authorised installer you work with.
